Rockin' Out Princess Style
November 17, 2011
Okay, if you have a princess in your home or you are a princess at heart then you have got to get this CD. I love the music of Jenny Oaks Baker, and she just released a c.d. called, Wish Upon a Star: A Tribute to the Music of Walt Disney
Now my girls can have their princess songs and I get to listen to the violin. Win win in my book! Thanks sis, for the recommendation. Check out the video. . My sister is the first one who told me about it, and my older sister has never led me astray. She's got three girls of her own. Shuffling them back and forth between school, gymnastics and girl scouts she was going crazy listening to the typical 'kids songs'. Now they compromise with "Wish Upon a Star". Really is it a compromise if both parties whole heartedly agree.
Violin Theft
November 17, 2011
Violins have more than monetary value for ANYBODY who's ever owned one, and learned to love playing on it. Tragically the owner died shortly after the theft. And now the family is left searching for Louis Nicely's violin that was a part of his life for 75 of his 86 years.
If you live in Pittsburg and you recently purchased a violin at a pawn shop, consider investigating if you stumbled upon this family heirloom. Returning it would mean the world to this family.
