**Remember

  • Keep your left elbow away from your body in a comfortable position. Not too high and not too low.
  • The left wrist should be neutrally aligned with your left arm. Until you begin playing high up on the fingerboard in advanced positions, it should not be touching the violin.
  • It's hard to see mistakes you're making when you can't actually see yourself. Practice in the mirror. Or record yourself on camera.
